What food is eaten most during the Super Bowl?
Did you know that chicken wings and pizza are the most popular foods to eat on Super Bowl Sunday?
Americans eat an estimated 1.42 billion chicken wings and 12.5 million pizzas on Super Bowl Sunday, according to Food Safety News. That’s a lot of wing sauce and cheese!
If you’re looking for chicken wing recipes, I’ve got you covered with my ultimate collection of buffalo style, barbecue flavored, spicy, baked or grilled wing recipes. Plus, a whole bunch of air fryer chicken wing recipes you’re going to want to try.
And rather than waiting on takeout, consider making this quick flatbread pizza.
While wings and pizza are must-haves for watching the big game, don’t forget about other other popular Super Bowl snacks, including chips, dips, meatballs and other delicious appetizers and finger foods.
📺 What are good foods for a Super Bowl party?
At a Super Bowl party or any sports-themed party, all attention will be on the game. Party guests will want to keep their eyes on the TV while snacking, rather than hanging out in the kitchen or by the buffet table as happens at many parties.
For that reason, you want to serve finger foods and Super Bowl snacks that are portable. I always serve these pork fried wontons because they’re so easy to grab and go!
Don’t forget to have lots of beer and sodas, too.
Take your cues from ballparks and stadiums when planning your Super Bowl party food menu. If they’re serving it at the stadium, then it will probably be a hit at your Super Bowl gathering, too.
Single-bite foods are great.
It’s fine to serve things like hot dogs, brats and sausages with homemade hot dog chili or a bowl of chili, but make sure you make them portable.
Serve hot dogs and fries in paper-lined baskets or paper trays, like they do at restaurants and stadiums.
If you’re serving chili, consider serving it in heavy-duty disposable bowls or ceramic bowls with a handle for easy carrying.
To prevent fumbles and spills, opt for heavy-duty plastic plates instead of flimsy paper ones. Plates with built-in cup holders are a great idea for a Super Bowl party. These plates have a spot in the center to hold a drink or dip!

Thank you! I and my friends absolutely loved the food this weekend and I did everything with your guidance and exactly like in the recipes! Had no time to say thank you earlier! Tortilla Chips, ribs, and chicken wings were just something else and mind you I’m a pretty terrible cook on my own so it’s all because of you! I kinda felt like we lacked something sweet afterward so I might have to pick up something else from you in the near future to back me up in case we decide to gather again soon for the 2nd February game!
