Whether we’re throwing a big shindig with friends or just watching the game as a family, we have a few diehard game day traditions.

My son always wears his jersey. #1, baby! Before kickoff, we try to hit the backyard for a game of catch or flag football.

That makes us good and hungry for our favorite tradition — chowing down on some good eats.

Cause you can’t watch football without snacks.

    Chicken and waffles? What?

I hear that a lot when I mention this southern favorite to people who have never experienced the culinary delight of fried chicken served alongside buttery waffles. But don’t knock it until you try it.

And then I’m really going to make your head spin by pairing that quintessential football snack — buffalo chicken — with miniature waffles. And let’s throw in some blue cheese and extra hot sauce to really make things sizzle.

Don’t worry, the recipe is forthcoming. But first I need to tempt your tastebuds with a few of other other favorite game day snacks.

What's the secret to fall off the bone ribs? You want to make sure you choose the right cut of pork, and you want to use a spice rub that adds flavor while it tenderizes. And when it comes to cooking them, slow and low is best! This recipe makes the most tender ribs I have ever tasted! #SmithfieldPork #ad

Looking for a party recipe that you'll make again and again? These Asian style sweet and spicy chicken wings are always a hit. Perfect for the Super Bowl or any kind of bash. And they're easy to make. Just marinate, broil and toss in the slow cooker.

These buffalo chicken and waffles can be a little messy, so make sure you have lots of Bounty paper towels on hand for cleanup.

It gives a whole new meaning to the term “dabbing.”

You can find Bounty and lots of other game day essentials, like Tide PODS with a built-in stain remover, Febreze Air Effects and Charmin Ultra Strong, to get you and your home ready from Procter & Gamble at Walmart.
