I always struggle with the transition from summer to fall.
By early September, the mailbox fills with fall catalogs and magazines filled with photographs of folks wearing sweaters while drinking cider. Starbucks brings back the pumpkin spice latte. And I see the pretty fall tableaus my fellow bloggers are creating on their tabletops and front porches.
As much as I want to be in the mood for crunchy leaves and baby boo pumpkins, it’s hard to think about all that when it’s 90 degrees outside and there’s no way I’m trading my flip flops and t-shirts for boots and flannel.
