Star Wars Party Ideas: Favors
We set up a divided gift and favor table — one side for the William and the Rebels) and one side for the Jackson and the Empire.
Again, I used my Silhouette (I love that machine!) to make a banner with the Rebel and Imperial symbols. (I also made a Millennium Falcon banner for the cake table; you’ll see that later.)
I repeated the Rebels and Empire symbols on the party favor bags. The bags were plain ones from the dollar store, and I added the insignia in vinyl. If you have a Silhouette, you can download my Imperial logo and Rebel logo cut files for free by clicking on the links.
I also used vinyl to make the Darth Jackson and Jedi Master William signs you see on the gift table.
As their favors, guests received pool noodle lightsabers we made using duct tape, water gun blasters from Oriental Trading and some fun Star Wars goodies inside the bags.
Favors included a Jedi training certificate, Star Wars sticky notes, Darth Vader and stormtrooper rings and….
…these Millennium Falcon flying discs I made, using vinyl cut on my Silhouette to decorate mini flying discs. Get the free Millennium Falcon cut file for the Silhouette here.
Guests also got a fun R2-D2 photo frame craft kit to make at home.
It’s not a birthday party without a cake, and since we had two birthday boys, we had two cakes.
Kelli
Where did you find the skewers for the grapes?
Atta Girl Amy
Kelli, those skewers came from Walmart. They were made by Wilton, but sadly I think they’ve discontinued them. I’ve tried to find a source for them many times since we had the party, and I’ve never been able to do so. Wilton really should start making them again.
Krystal
For the two signs you did on the gift table (Darth Jackson and Master William) do you have a cut file for Vader and Yoda image on them? If so, could I get them? We are doing Star Wars for my son and this make it so nice to cut them out for decor. Thanks You did awesome and I am using some for his birthday.
Atta Girl Amy
I’m sorry i dodnt see your comment sooner. I think I still havr these files and would happily srnd them to you.
Carrie @ Curly Crafty Mom
Wow! You really went all out and I love it! We did a similar Star Wars party for my son, but did a lot more then I did!! The snack table is just AWESOME!!! Great work!
Atta Girl Amy
Thanks so much, Carrie. It definitely helped that it was a joint party with his BFF. We had two families working on it. We even put the grandparents to work. And it was all worth it because the birthday boys and their friends had a blast.
Elaine
My boys would have loved a party like this when they were young! Good Job!
Atta Girl Amy
Thanks, it was a lot of fun. I have to admit, I think I prefer boy parties to princess parties.
Beth McIntire
Those kids are SO lucky! I especially love the Admiral Ackbar Snackbar and R2D2 cookies.
Atta Girl Amy
We certainly had a blast at the party! I think the boys and their friends all appreciated it. Definitely worth all the work we put into it.
All that's Jas
How fun! Great job! Thanks for linking up with Thursday Favorite Things!
Andrea
Hi, is there any chance you have the files for the rebel sign and the empire sign on another post that I can’t find? I have a silhouette and would love to be able to use them for my sons star wars party this weekend! Your party was amazing!!! Thanks!
Atta Girl Amy
Hi Andrea,
I do indeed have those Silhouette files. I’ll email them to you shortly!

Heidi @ Happiness is Homemade
Awesome ideas! I love that you paid SO much attention to all of the little details. Great job!
Atta Girl Amy
Thank you, Heidi. The devil is in the details, and some of them sure gave me fits, but I think all the effort was definitely worth it. The kids had a blast, especially the two birthday boys.
Cori
There are so many good ideas in this party, I wouldn’t know where to start! Great job!
Atta Girl Amy
