You’ll never guess the secret ingredient in this tropical yogurt dip. It’s so yummy served on fruit as an after-school snack.
Growing up, our house was the one where kids gravitated after school, on weekends and on long summer days. My mom always had a snack and a pitcher of KOOL-Aid ready for us when we took a break from playing.
As a mom, I’ve always wanted ours to be the “KOOL-Aid house,” with a backyard full of laughing, playing kids.
And that’s what it has become (along with a lot of other houses in the neighborhood).
One of the little girls has even nicknamed ours the “random food house.” With my blog, I’m always working on recipes and treats. So, the kids love knocking on my kitchen door to see what “random food” I’m serving today.
Today, it’s this delicious tropical yogurt fruit dip served with fruit kabobs, which makes a great after-school treat.

And guess what the secret ingredient is? KOOL-Aid Easy Mix, which gives the dip its pink color and tropical fruit flavor!
We got to sample KOOL-Aid Easy Mix at an in-store demo at Walmart. It’s really convenient and easy to make in a pitcher or a glass — just add water.
Nothing beats a cold glass of KOOL-Aid on a hot day. It tastes like childhood.
This fruit yogurt dip is almost as easy to make, too, and kids will love its fun, fruity flavor.
You can change up the flavor and color by using different flavors of KOOL-Aid Easy Mix.
What after-school snack would you pair with KOOL-Aid Easy Mix?

Sounds like my kind of party, as it’s almost noon and I’m still in my PJs. (I’d planned to get dressed earlier, but the Internet beckoned!) Oh, and today the random food house is serving adults-only fare — Derby Pie and mint juleps!
