Our home is set back from the road, at the end of a cul-de-sac, and our front porch is covered. So, I don’t hesitate to use painted furniture and other items that might be considered “indoor only” in the space.

The lemon slice bowls were a thrift store find. These ceramic bowls or these painted bowls are similar in style.
I found the coordinating pillow covers, featuring buffalo check and lemonade designs, on Amazon. The juice glasses are vintage.
If you don’t have a green thumb, or if you don’t want to be bothered with watering plants throughout the heat of summer, faux boxwood topiaries are a good choice for a summer porch.
And whatever you do, don’t forget the lemonade! A glass over ice, or a homemade frosted lemonade, is so refreshing on a hot summer day!
