The Ultimate Christmas Planner is more than just handy lists and free organizer pages. The real magic can be found in the opening pages where you define your goals and intentions for the Christmas season.
How to Use the Ultimate Christmas Planner
Before you get to a single checklist, you’ll start off with some thought-provoking questions that will help you help you imagine your “best Christmas ever.”
Your goal for the holidays shouldn’t be to do everything. It should be to do those things that bring you and your loved ones the most joy.
Once you figure out what matters to you in this season– and also what doesn’t — you’ll fill out the “My Christmas Plan” page.
Think of this page as your Christmas mission statement. It will help set the tone for your celebrations.
It will help you know what holiday activities to embrace and which ones to skip. You’ll decide exactly how you want to celebrate and who you want to be part of those celebrations. You’ll think about your favorite Christmas traditions and the types of memories you want to make.
Once you have your Christmas plan set, you can dive into the other planning and organizing pages.

What is the best way to print the Christmas planner?
You have several options for printing out the Christmas binder.
It is designed to be printed on standard 8.5X11-inch paper. I recommend using a heavier cardstock for the cover, but regular printer paper will work for the rest.
The most economical option is to print the planner using your home computer. You can print all 82 pages or just the ones you will use. (You can also print out multiples of any pages, like the recipe cards, bin labels or gift tags.)
You could also have the planner printed double-sided and bound at a copy center, such as Fed Ex Office, Staples or Office Depot.

I really like the print-at-home option because you can move pages around, print extras or omit pages. This allows you to really customize the planner, depending on your needs.
For example, if you don’t have kids, there’s no need to print out the Santa letter. If you don’t go overboard putting up Christmas trees like I do, you probably won’t need to print out as many decor bin labels. If you don’t host any Christmas parties or family get-togethers, you may not need the leftover tags.
How to Assemble the Christmas Planner
Once you’ve printed out the planner, use a 3-hole punch or disc punch to prepare the pages for your binder. You can use a standard 3-ring binder or a discbound-style notebook. (You’ll need a clear cover and discs for the latter.)
Personally, I like using a 3-ring binder. It’s the most economical method. And I like to be able to easily add pages or move them around. You may want to add some divider tabs for the different sections.
