Gone. Poof! Just like Cinderella’s coach at midnight!
I love the Silhouette Studio® Designer Edition software that comes with these bundles. And if you already have a Silhouette, now is the time to upgrade to the Designer Edition software. With it, you can use your own images and shapes, not just those available in the Silhouette Online Store. This is a huge plus for me because I often create my own designs to use as stencils for furniture painting projects.
Here’s a side-by-side comparison of what you can do with the Silhouette Studio Software Silhouette Studio® Designer Edition software versus the basic edition that comes free with both the Cameo and Portrait machines.
In my experience, you have a lot more options for customization and completing complicated designs with the Designer Edition. And I love that you can convert your images into rhinestone patterns and sketch patterns.
Now for some inspiration. Here are 12 projects to get you started:
- Hand painted ski lodge sign
- Popcorn gift boxes
- Sinclair dinosaur stool
- Decorated Easter jars
- Family Bucket List
- Kid-Crafted Lego Ninjago Birthday Party
- Heart of Gold Plate
- Carolina on My Mind Rocking Chair

Now you know my secret! I just wish I could figure out how to make reusable stencils with my Silhouette. I’ve tried to use stencil blanks, but it didn’t work as well as I would have liked. Hope you have a great weekend, too.
