    Runway-Inspired Thanksgiving Table Setting

    Decorating, Entertaining, Sponsored, Thanksgiving Decor

My dining room table is all set for Thanksgiving with feathers and burlap and mercury glass and shades of green and aqua inspired by the fashion runways!

And it didn’t take me any time at all to pull this Thanksgiving table setting together because I used a table styling kit from Sparkle & Dine! (Sadly, this company is no longer in business.)

This may be one of the most brilliant concepts ever!

Sparkle & Dine, founded by former Los Angeles costume designer Stacia Marlow, specializes in “simplified entertaining” by offering curated styling kits delivered to your door. These table setting kits, which come in 4-piece, 6-piece and larger build-your-own configurations, include napkins and table runners, chargers, vases, place cards and other embellishments to transform your table.

I chose the Feather Frenzy kit for my Thanksgiving table setting,

The kit came with a burlap table runner, a set of chargers, napkins and rings, place cards, a pair of small green bottles, two mercury glass votive holders, two mercury glass pine cone ornaments, a birch vase and assorted feathers.

Pretty much everything I needed to set the table, besides silverware, wine glasses and plates!

In keeping with the bird motif, I paired the kit with my Lenox Chirp dishes, my everyday flatware, some pretty aqua blown-glass water glasses and our wedding crystal.

I used feathers in the napkin rings.

And I also added them to the green bottles.

For the centerpiece, I picked up a bouquet of grocery store flowers and added them to that gorgeous birch vase.

The kit came with plain white place cards. I jazzed them up a bit, stamping each with a pinecone bough and adding our dinner guests’ names in gold ink.

One of the easiest tables I’ve ever set, and one of the prettiest, too.
