Since I’m the only coffee drinker in our house, it doesn’t make sense to make a full pot every day. I just brew a cup with my Keurig. But I do love to find ways to reuse K cups rather than throwing them into the garbage. (Recycled K cups are great for all kinds of crafts. But did you know you can reuse K cups as seed starters?)
For this craft, you’ll want to save your used K Cups. Once they’ve been brewed, allow them to cool. Then remove the foil cover, cut out the filter liner inside and toss or compost it. Then wash the recycled K cups and set them aside until you’re ready to craft with them.

Easter Bunny from Recycled K Cups
We used a white K Cup to make the bunny. But if yours are a different color, paint the K Cup with white spray paint and let dry completely.
Cut two ears out of white foam sheets. The ears should be a little longer than the height of the cup.
Cut two small pink triangles to inside of the ears. Affix the two pieces together with hot glue.
Cut one small pink triangle nose out of foam.
Use hot glue to attach the eyes and nose to the front of the cup.
Attach the ears to the inside rim of the cup with hot glue.
Fill with candies.
Carrot Treat Cup from Recycled K Cups
Spray the K Cup with orange spray paint and let dry completely.
Cut several pieces of green foam about the same height of the cup. Cut grass strands in the top 2/3 of the foam.
Affix to the inside of the cup with hot glue.
Overlapping several pieces and different sizes of grass will give it a more dimensional carrot top.
Fill with candies.
Spring Chick Recycled K Cups
Spray recycled K Cups with yellow paint and let dry completely.
Cut out one small orange foam triangle for the beak.
Attach the eyes and beak to the front of the cup with hot glue.
Attach a feather to the center of the cup rim with hot glue.
Cut two small raindrop shapes out of yellow foam for the wings. Attach to each side of the cup with hot glue.
Fill recycled K cups with candies.
