Maple Nut Goodie Toast & 30+ Quick Breakfast Recipes

Breakfast & Bread, Easy Recipes, Family Recipes

Lately, I’ve been into sharing recipes that really aren’t — dishes that require minimal ingredients and cooking time but that are still super tasty.

It might have something to do with the lazy days of summer…

..but those lazy days are winding down more quickly than I would like.

The countdown to school is on. So today, I’m sharing with you one of my favorite quick breakfast recipes for Maple Nut Goodie Toast as part of The Benson Street’s 45 Days of Back to School Ideas.

Plus, I have 30 more make-ahead, grab-and-go and easy-fix breakfast ideas for you.

More than Quick Breakfast Recipes that you can make ahead, grab and go or make in a snap

A month’s worth of breakfast ideas!

Be sure to check out all the back-to-school ideas at the end of this post. Printables, snacks, fashions, shopping tips, crafts, lunch ideas, school supplies, teacher gifts, homework tips, party ideas and more: everything you need to get the kids back to school in stress-free, organized style!

Now, let’s get back to breakfast, the most important meal of the day.

Maple Nut Goodie Toast and 30+ Quick Breakfast Recipes

While I’ve been known to rush through or skip out on breakfast entirely, I like to send my kiddo to school with a full belly. Because I know if I don’t, he might not eat much of anything until dismissal time. (He’s a picky eater and a talker at lunch, so there are many days when he comes home with a full lunchbox.)

Thankfully, my kid is a breakfast eater, but he likes variety. And I like to deliver.

But Mama doesn’t always have time to whip up a batch of homemade waffles or scramble an egg in the morning. So, I like to have some quick-fix and make-ahead recipes in my arsenal.

Like this Maple Nut Goodie Breakfast toast recipe that I think originated with my dad. (Sorry, Mom, if this was your kitchen creation!)

Maple Nut Goodie Toast and 30+ Quick Breakfast Recipes

It’s a tasty alternative to pancakes or waffles, plus it’s quick to make and has a protein boost. And it tastes like candy.

    Brach’s Maple Nut Goodies!

    Here’s how you make it:

Slather a piece of toast with crunchy or smooth peanut butter or the nut butter of your choice. Then top it with hot pure maple syrup! The candy garnish is optional — and certainly not recommended for kids!  (But it makes for a pretty blog photo!)

Not much of a recipe, I know, but it’s a quick-fix on a busy morning. And I’ve found it will hush those pleas for homemade waffles or pancakes that I hear some weekday mornings!

Since quick breakfasts are pretty much all that’s on the menu at our house when school is in session, I’ve collected a bunch of quick breakfast recipes in this virtual cookbook.

Amy, your Maple Nut Goodie breakfast would be a perfect option for my 7 year old– she is picky about her breakfast, and this is a great way to have her eat some protein in the morning. I love the roundup of breakfast ideas, so many options. Thanks for including my granola!
