Use pretty scrap fabric to make the cute Easter bunny banner. This sturdy banner, which can be used year after year requires no sewing.
I love the Pottery Barn catalog for ideas and inspiration, as well as for shopping.
And I really love it when I see something in the catalog and say, “Hey, I can make that myself!”

That’s just what I said when I saw this paper bunny garland in the Pottery Barn Kids catalog. And since my Easter bunny banner is made of fabric, instead of scrapbook paper, I’m pretty sure it will hold up even better than the original.
It was the perfect project for this month’s no-sew crafting challenge.

Supplies for the Easter Bunny Banner
- Phoomph for Fabric! adhesive sheets (I used stiff Phoomph; it also comes in soft)
- Scissors
- Quilting fat quarters or calico fabric
- scissors
- hot glue gun
- assorted pom poms
- cotton twill tape or ribbon
- Easter bunny pattern, which you can download HERE
Instructions for the Easter Bunny Banner
Cut Phoomph into a rectangle to fit the bunny pattern. Peel off backing to expose the adhesive. (I did a video last year showing how to use Phoomph. You can check that out HERE if you have any questions on how to work with it.)
Smooth fabric over the adhesive. There’s no need to iron, but do press and stretch to remove any wrinkles. Repeat on the other side.
Use a pen to trace bunny pattern onto the Phoomph-covered fabric. Use fabric scissors to cut out bunny.
Use hot glue to attach pom pom tail to bunny.
Use hot glue to attach bunny shapes to twill tape or ribbon, allowing a few inches between each bunny. Be sure to also allow extra ribbon at the end so you can hang your Easter bunny banner.
This is a great way to use up fabric scraps. You can make each bunny out of a different fabric, as I did.
I also had fun matching their pom-pom tails to the fabric.
