Lately, I keep getting reminders that I’m not as young as I once was.

Maybe it has something to do with celebrating my 46th birthday! (I thought about sharing more random facts about myself, like I did when I turned 40. But I’m older and more tired, so I’m just republishing this post with printable funny life quotes about getting older.)

And I’m proud to be at that age where I can talk about things like wrinkles and aching joints and peeing a little when I sneeze without judgment or self-censorship.

Because, honey, these things happen to everybody. And every body.

Oh, and you’re probably going to get chin hairs, too, as your hormones fluctuate. (Just be glad they’re not nose hairs or ear hairs like the guys get!) When you do, you’ll be thankful for 10X magnifying mirrors and friends with bifocals who can see them and pluck them for you!

One of the best things about getting older is finding the confidence to be real and to laugh at yourself and to delight in the changes that every new age brings.
