This spicy bacon avocado ranch chicken sandwich recipe, paired with sweet potato fries with a homemade boom-boom dipping sauce is a snap to make. But it’s so much better than fast food. #farmtoflavorrecipes
I get it. Some nights, there’s nothing more appealing than fast food. The next time you’re tempted by the drive-through, you might want to give his make-at-home meal a try.
It’s so much better than fast food, made with natural, wholesome products. And it’s ready in the time it would take you to load the family into the car and hit the drive-through.
The only cooking involved is turning on the oven and a little slicing and stirring!
For these recipes, I used NatureRaised Farms® Frozen Chicken and Alexia® Sweet Potato Fries, which I picked up in the freezer aisle at Target. We’re big fans of both of these products, for flavor, convenience and because they’re all-natural, from the farm to the dinner plate.
If you use the Cartwheel app, you can save 15 percent off NatureRaised Farms® frozen chicken and Alexia® frozen products at Target. (I’m addicted to those Cartwheel Savings. I scan my entire cart before checking out at Target, to make sure I’m getting all the discounts.)
Back to this delicious dinner. It’s ready in less than 25 minutes.
Just toss the chicken and fries on a baking sheet and pop them in the oven — 20 to 25 minutes for the fries and 15-18 minutes for the chicken. (Check the package directions for exact times and temperatures.)
While the chicken and fries are cooking, you’ll need to spend a little hands on time toasting the buns, mixing up the sriracha ranch sauce for the sandwiches and making the boom-boom dipping sauce for the fries.
If you don’t have any precooked bacon or leftovers from breakfast, you may have to fry up a few slices. And the last thing you’ll want to do is slice the avocado.
This menu is all about balancing the spicy and the sweet, and the cool and the hot.
In the sandwich, the srirachi sauce kicks up the heat, while the ranch and avocado cool things down. And the boom-boom sauce fires up the sweet potato fries.
The next time you’re craving fast food, give this chicken sandwich recipe a try. And don’t forget the fries.
