Hi, I’m Amy, a modern mommy from North Carolina. But you can call me Atta Girl.
I love modern conveniences — I’d be lost without my smartphone, the dishwasher, boxed wine and the pizza delivery boy — but I appreciate the handmade, homemade and old-fashioned.
I do the June Cleaver bit — and then some — but without the high heels and pearls.
I am a “recovering” newspaper reporter who earns a living writing business books and dispensing “propaganda” for PR clients. But blogging is my passion.
Creativity keeps me up at night – and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I started my blog in February 2012 to nurture my creativity and to encourage other women to do the same.
You can read all about that here in my blogging manifesto, and don’t forget to read the update I wrote on my onr-year blog anniversary.
I share ideas and projects to make your home brighter and your heart lighter.
Thanks for stopping by to see what Atta Girl Says!
