Since I’ve barely started my Christmas shopping, I really shouldn’t be thinking ahead to how I’m going to wrap the gifts.

But that’s the mind of a crafty procrastinator!

You may remember how over the summer I shared how to make these scrapbook paper gift bags on Tatertots and Jello.

With prime gift-giving season upon us, I figured it was finally time to share the quick and easy craft here on my own blog.

For these particular gift bags, I used scrapbook paper from Jen’s new Home + Made collection. But you could use any seasonal scrapbook paper, kraft paper or heavy-duty wrapping paper to make bags for any occasion. I’ve got my eye on some plaid wrapping paper so the presents under the tree match my Christmas decor.

These gift bags are so easy to make, using a single sheet of scrapbook paper. These are great for gifts, of course. But I would also use these bags as custom favors for a wedding or party.

Using scrapbook paper means you can easily match the favor bags to your theme or color scheme.

These black, white and gold bags would have been perfect at the Oscars party I threw earlier this year.

The easiest way for me to show you how to make these is with a quick how-to video. You’ll see just how quickly these come together.

Seriously, these gift bags are super easy to make, which will leave you plenty of time to decorate and embellish them to the nines.

I’m in love with these gold kraft pocket tags and the butterfly die fom the Home + Made collection. I ran it through my die-cutting machine to make these gilded butterflies.

And yep, love pretty much sums up how I feel about these do-it-yourself scrapbook paper gift bags.
