To create a pinwheel for your tablesetting, you’ll need a square napkin — cloth or fabric will do.

These black and yellow table decoration ideas are so pretty. This color scheme works for a casual summer party or an elegant wedding. And aren't those pinwheel shaped napkins so fancy and festive?

For my casual yellow-and-black summer table (which I’ll be sharing soon!), I used lemon yellow napkins from Bright Settings paired with a black-and-white gingham check tablecloth.

Summer entertaining doesn't have to be fancy or time consuming. Throw some hot dogs on the grill, dish up some delicious hot dog toppings and you have the makings for the perfect summer party. #FinestGrillathon #ad

I love this napkin fold so much that I used it for our hotdog toppings bar, too. For that, I used picnic check paper napkins.

Really any square napkin will work!

Let me show you how easy it is. Just click below to watch my quick video tutorial on how to fold napkins into pinwheels.

I added a little “napkin ring” to the yellow pinwheels. It’s really just a clip-on earring tucked in the center. A button or decorative pin would work, too.

The napkins will hold their shape without anything in the center. It’s really up to you.

Now, go see what the other ladies made for this month’s no-sew showcase.

And don’t forget to pin this pinwheel napkin fold to use at your next dinner party.
