Spring has finally come to our front porch.
After an interminably cold and long winter, warmer temperatures and spring blooms are finally here.
To celebrate, I’m sharing this easy spring wreath craft made using silk tulips and faux grass.
My inspiration came from this wreath from The Chic-Adee Shop on Etsy. Her wreaths and handmade flowers are exquisite.
Mine is definitely a budget version.
To make mine, I started with a straw wreath form, two bunches of tulips and 2 fake grass plants from Ikea.
Pull the grass out of the pot and hot glue it onto the wreath form. (I also used some floral pins to attach some of the grass.)
Then I snipped the tulips and nestled them in the grass as if they were blooming in the yard, hot gluing some and using floral pins for others, just to add a little more stability.
When you’re finished hot gluing, turn your hair dryer on the wreath for just a few seconds and those pesky glue strands will disappear!
Finally I tied a floppy bow from a springy floral print ribbon and made a hanger out of several lengths of green, orange and yellow ribbon.
Such a perfect way to welcome guests to our home this spring.
This burlap and lily spring wreath is another easy DIY, and you can change out the ribbon and flower with every season.

Amy, I love the colors in this Spring wreath, so cheerful. I am a big fan of orange, it instantly puts me in a better mood. Tulips are my favorite, I have been wanting to plant some bulbs in my front yard.
