I always struggle with the transition from summer to fall.
By early September, the mailbox fills with fall catalogs and magazines filled with photographs of folks wearing sweaters while drinking apple cider. Starbucks brings back the pumpkin spice latte. And I see the pretty fall tableaus my fellow bloggers are creating on their tabletops and front porches.
As much as I want to be in the mood for crunchy leaves and baby boo pumpkins, it’s hard to think about all that when it’s 90 degrees outside and there’s no way I’m trading my flip flops and t-shirts for boots and flannel.
If you’re having trouble getting in the mood for fall, like I am, than this post is for you. I’ve been poking around my archives, the blog version of an attic, searching for simple fall craft ideas and decorating inspiration.
Ten ideas to get you in the mood for fall. Simple crafts you can make, quick changes you can make to your decor and easy recipes you can whip up to give you that fall feeling.
2) Stack pumpkins (real or fake) in a planter to make a pumpkin topiary.
And if all else fails, go find a hayride. Or drink a pumpkin spice latte!

Great ideas, Amy! I’ve been all over pinterest looking for some different crock pot recipes.

I just pinned some to my Dinner this Week Pinterest board, Kirby. (www.pinterest.com/ajastro) We’ve already made the slow cooker ribs I pinned (from Real Food by Dad, and they were amazing!) I’m looking forward to Italian pot roast in the slow cooker this week and also roasted vegetables. You’ll find those recipes on my pinboard, too.
