It’s Christmas Eve. The stockings are hung by the chimney with care, and my little one is nestled all snug in his bed, with visions of Christmas morning swirling through his head, I’m sure.
Meanwhile, I’m enjoying the last few hours of decorated bliss. The sparkling lights. The glittering glitter. The pretty packages. Before our lovely holiday home turns into a hustling, bustling, paper-strewn, toy wonderland.
If you’ve missed any part of my holiday home tour, this is your chance to see it in all it’s bedecked glory.
We’ll start at the front porch. Click here to see the entire front porch decorated for Christmas.
Watch your head and your eyes as you step inside, those antlers on the wreath can be prickly.
Welcome to our foyer, where you’ll see all kinds off vintage touches, from McCoy pottery to shiny glass ornaments to paper Christmas villages.
Click here because you don’t want to miss a single detail of my pink and green vintage holiday foyer.
Next, we’ll peek into the dining room, decorated simply and casually in gold and silver and glitter. Is ever simple? Or casual?
You be the judge when you stroll through my silver and gold Christmas dining room.
Welcome now to the living room where we have our one and only Christmas tree, decorated with ornaments that represent special memories from our life together.
Handmade or store-bought, fancy or plain, they all have a place on our Christmas tree.
And oh, how the tree sparkles at night.
For more photos of my living room decorated for Christmas, be sure to click here.
And finally, the place where we spend the bulk of our time. Our cozy keeping room with its warm fireplace, a recliner that lulls you to sleep and the big TV.
If you want to see what the keeping room looks like most of the time, you’ll have to click here to see the halls of our family’s favorite space decked for the holidays.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this tour and the little trip through our family’s holiday traditions.
This blog, and my readers, is truly a gift that I am blessed with every day.
Merry Christmas to you and yours. May your days be merry and bright and filled with peace, love and joy.
