Ready in less than 5 minutes, this homemade dipping sauce is made with soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil and chili garlic sauce. Use it on wontons, dumplings, potstickers, egg rolls, spring rolls and more.
Combine soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic paste, honey, sliced scallions and sesame seeds in a bowl.
Whisk together until blended.
Serve with wontons, dumplings, potstickers or other appetizers.

Variations & Substitutions
Add ⅛ teaspoon each onion powder and garlic powder.
Add a clove of fresh minced or crushed garlic, or use it in place of the green onions.
Add minced ginger, to taste.
Swirl in some homemade Chinese hot mustard in place of the sambal oelek or chili garlic paste.
For a nuttier flavor, toast the sesame seeds in a nonstick pan until lightly browned and fragrant.
Storage
This sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for a week. For best results, add the green onions and sesame seeds right before serving.
