Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. Italian sausage
2 cloves garlic
4 TBS chili powder
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
½ tsp. cumin
salt and pepper

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
The longer the chili cooks, the more the flavor will develop.
