Add ice cold water

Add ice cold water to the mustard powder.  The water temperature matters!  Cold water activates the heat enzymes in the mustard powder.

For best results, make a small batch and serve immediately. Store any leftovers in a jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. The mustard may lose some of its heat and potency as it ages.
