Stuffed with cream cheese and real crab meat, these crispy crab rangoons are even better than takeout. Serve them with a tangy homemade sweet and sour sauce.

Each crispy, fried crab rangoon is stuffed with cream cheese and real crab meat. Every bite is bursting with flavor. 

Ingredients 8 oz. cream cheese  8 oz. crab meat  pinch of salt 2 TBS green onions 1 tsp. soy sauce ½ tsp. Worcestershire  1 clove garlic, minced  1 TBS powdered sugar*  50 wonton wrappers 3 cups vegetable oil  *optional

Add ingredients

Combine cream cheese, green onions, salt, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and powdered sugar (if using) in a bowl.

Make the filling

Mix until creamy and well blended.

Fill wontons

Place 1 teaspoon of crab and cream cheese mixture in the center of a wonton wrapper.

Fold crab rangoons

Bring two opposite points of the wrapper together to form a triangle, then bring the other two points to meet in the center.

Seal crab rangoons

Press out any air and seal well to prevent the filling from escaping when frying.

Fry appetizers

Heat oil to 350° F and fry crab rangoons, in batches, until golden brown.
