A wonderful, hot fall drink made with steamed apple cider and homemade cinnamon-infused caramel simple syrup. Topped with whipped cream, cinnamon sugar and caramel drizzle, it's a wonderful indulgence on a cold day.
Add apple cider to a saucepan and steam over medium-low heat. Do not boil.
Add Cinnamon Caramel Simple Syrup to the steamed apple cider, stirring to combine.
Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream. Drizzle with salted caramel topping and garnish with cinnamon sugar or crushed candies.

Makes two 8-ounce servings. The recipe can be doubled or tripled to make additional drinks.To make a large batch of hot apple cider, heat cider in a slow cooker on low for 3 to 4 hours. Keep warm until ready to serve, then add cinnamon caramel syrup to mugs, top with apple cider and garnish with whipped cream and caramel drizzle.
