Pumpkin Spice Stuffed French Toast



This mouth watering Pumpkin Pie Spice Stuffed French Toast should be your go-to fall breakfast. It features a sweet pumpkin spice cream cheese mixture sandwiched between slices of French bread and fried to golden perfection.

French bread loaf 8 ounces cream cheese  7 ounces canned pumpkin 3 Tablespoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 5 eggs 1 cup pumpkin coffee creamer Butter Powdered sugar Maple syrup (optional)

Step 1

Combine cream cheese, pumpkin, brown sugar and vanilla. Beat with mixer on medium until smooth.

Step 2

Cut bread into 2-inch slices, then make a slit in each for the filling.

Step 3

Spread pumpkin cream cheese filling in the pocket of each slice of bread.

Step 4

Whisk together eggs and flavored coffee creamer in a large baking dish.

Step 5

Dip stuffed bread slices in egg mix. Soak 2 minutes, then flip. Soak 2 more minutes. 

Step 6

Melt 2 TBS butter in frying pan over medium heat. Cook each side until golden brown

Step 7

Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with hot maple syrup, if desired.
