A cookout and potluck favorite!  Everybody loves Grandma's baked beans with bacon.  They're so easy to make using canned beans.

An easy recipe to throw together for a cookout. These beans go well with just about anything you might be grilling: hot dogs, ribs, hamburgers, steaks or chicken.

Ingredients 2 cans pork and beans 1 medium onion, diced ½ cup brown sugar 1 cup ketchup 8 slices bacon 1 tsp. yellow mustard

Dice bacon and cook over medium heat until crispy. Remove from pan, saving renderings.

Cook diced onion in  bacon drippings over medium heat until translucent.

Add canned pork and beans to the pan with the onion. Stir well to combine.

Add ketchup and yellow mustard to the bean and onion mixture.

Add brown sugar and stir so everything is well incorporated.

Add reserved bacon to the pan and stir again.  Bake, uncovered, at 300℉ for one hour.

You can easily double or triple this recipe to feed a crowd. The baked beans can also be cooked in a slow cooker.  Get the full recipe & slow cooker directions via the link below.
