Hot Cinnamon Spice Caramel Apple Cider

A wonderful, hot fall drink made with steamed apple cider and homemade cinnamon-infused caramel simple syrup. Topped with whipped cream, cinnamon sugar and caramel drizzle, it's a wonderful indulgence on a cold day.

  • Add apple cider to a saucepan and steam over medium-low heat. Do not boil.
  • Add Cinnamon Caramel Simple Syrup to the steamed apple cider, stirring to combine.
  • Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream. Drizzle with salted caramel topping and garnish with cinnamon sugar or crushed candies.

Notes

Makes two 8-ounce servings. The recipe can be doubled or tripled to make additional drinks.
To make a large batch of hot apple cider, heat cider in a slow cooker on low for 3 to 4 hours. Keep warm until ready to serve, then add cinnamon caramel syrup to mugs, top with apple cider and garnish with whipped cream and caramel drizzle.
