Peppermint Twist White Hot Chocolate

Thick, creamy, homemade white hot chocolate with a peppermint twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup International Delight® Peppermint Mocha coffee creamer
  • 6 ounces white chocolate chips
  • Whipped cream
  • crushed peppermint candies for garnish
  • light corn syrup

Instructions

  1. Combine milk and creamer in a heavy sauce pan and heat over a medium-low burner.
  2. When the milk mixture is warm, add the white chocolate chips .
  3. Stir constantly, until the chocolate is melted, about 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Pour a small amount of corn syrup in a bowl.
  6. Dip the rim of a coffee mug in the corn syrup and then dip in peppermint candy pieces to coat the rim.
  7. Pour hot chocolate in mugs and garnish with whipped cream and more peppermint candy pieces.
