These stunning painted foil pumpkins are magazine worthy. Learn to make your own using paint, metallic foil, glue and inexpensive faux pumpkins.

You can make them in a variety of colors using different paint and metallic foil -- gold, silver, copper and so many more!

Supplies

Faux Pumpkins Foam Brushes Craft Paint or Chalk Paint Adhesive Size Metallic Foil Sheets Clear Acrylic Spray

Step 1

Paint each pumpkin with craft paint or chalk paint until no orange shows.

Step 2

Next, use a foam brush to coat each pumpkin with adhesive size.

Step 3

Allow this special glue to dry until it's tacky or sticky to the touch.

Step 4

Press the metallic foil sheet, shiny side up, onto the sticky surface of the pumpkin.

Step 5

Press firmly to transfer the foil to the pumpkin, then peel off. Repeat all over the pumpkin.

Step 6

Use a clear acrylic spray to seal.

Add metallic foiled pumpkins to wreaths and other seasonal decor.

Use them in sesonal and holiday tablescapes. You can choose colors to match your tablecloth and other home decor.
