Homemade Applesauce Cake

Delicious and easy to make! This old-fashioned applesauce  cake is sure to become a fall favorite! 

This moist, tender spice cake is chock full of apples with a delightful crust.

Ingredients 3 large eggs 1 cup vegetable oil 1 cup applesauce 1 tsp. vanilla extract                        continued 👉🏻

More Ingredients  2¼ cups all-purpose flour 1 cup sugar 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp baking powder ¾ tsp. table salt 1¼ tsp ground cinnamon ¼ tsp grated nutmeg 3 cups chopped apples 

Whisk together the eggs, oil, applesauce and vanilla extract. 

Sift in flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Sift in flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Add cinnamon and grated nutmeg and stir to combine.

Fold in the peeled, chopped apples.

Pour into a lined 9X9 baking pan. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes at 350℉.

For best results, allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing.  Serve dusted with powdered sugar or with whipped topping.
