This is for every kid who has ever been told, “Don’t play with your food!”
How can you resist when it’s Twizzlers Twists?
After all, they’re designed to be whirled and twirled and peeled and tied and played with before you pop them into mouth.
Kids will love this this tasty Tic Tac Toe game. Made using Twizzlers Strawberry Twists and red, white and blue Twizzlers PULL ‘N’ PEEL Candy, these are great party favor for kids for a Memorial Day picnic or July 4th cookout.
Take some with you when you go to watch fireworks, and you have a snack for the kids and a way to keep them occupied while you’re waiting for the pyrotechnics to start.
To make them, you’ll need:
- Twizzlers Strawberry Twists
- Twizzlers PULL ‘N’ PEEL Candy in Raspberry, Wild Berry and Lemonade flavor
- Plastic pretzel size party favor bags
- White card stock, cut to 2.5 inches by 9 inches (or whatever size fits your party favor bags)
- Parchment or wax paper, cut to 2.5 inches by 9 inches (or whatever size fits your party favor bags)
- Free Tasty Tic Tac Toe printable
- Double-stick tape
- Light corn syrup (optional)
Separate Twizzlers PULL ‘N’ PEEL Candy into red-and-white and blue-and-white strips.
Cut the red-and-white strips to 3.5 inches in length and form into O’s, squeezing the ends together.
Cut the blue-and-white strips to 1.5 inches. Cross two pieces to form an X and pinch in the center to secure. You may also add a drop of light corn syrup to the middle of each X to secure.
For the tic-tac-toe board, tie four Twizzlers Twists together with three long blue-and-white strips of Twizzlers PULL ‘N’ PEEL Candy.
Place trimmed parchment or wax paper on top of the cardstock. Use double-stick tape to secure. Then arrange game pieces on the parchment/cardstock sheet and slide into a party favor bag. You’ll need five X’s and five O’s for each tic-tac-toe game.
Print bag toppers on card stock and cut out. Fold each card in half and attach to the top of the bag with double-stick tape.
