I’m a southerner and a DIYer, so I was already a big fan of duct tape!
Now that I’ve discovered the joys of duct tape crafting, I’m hooked!
Today, I’m joining the Crafty Hangouts group for another live crafting hangout on Google+.
This month’s hangouts are all sponsored by the Duck Brand, makers of Duck Tape.
Who knew Duck Tape came in such fun colors and prints? And glitter Duck Tape — be still my heart!
There’s a great Duck Tape prize pack up for grabs at the end of this post, so be sure to enter the giveaway!
I recruited my next door neighbor, Natalie, who is an expert duct tape crafter, to help me come up with a craft using holiday-themed Duck Tape. We decided to make an accordion-style wallet that can be used a receipt organizer for holiday shopping!
Watch as Natalie, my 8-year-old son, Jackson, and I show you how to make a duct tape wallet receipt organizer.
Cool stuff, right?
As we mentioned in the video, you can add as many pockets as you like to your duct tape wallet receipt organizer. And you can even add a change pouch using a zippered sandwich or snack bag.
And still everything folds up nice and neat!
If you’re new to duct tape crafting, don’t be intimidated by this project. It was the first thing I ever made with Duck Tape!
