Don’t you just love a 5-minute project?
That’s how long it will take you to fold a table’s worth of cloth or paper napkins into festive pinwheel shapes!
Things have been really busy around here with projects, deadlines and getting ready for some upcoming blog conferences and travel. So, I needed a really quick summery no-sew project to share along with my favorite group of bloggers.

To create this pinwheel napkin folds, you’ll need a square napkin — cloth or fabric will do.
For my casual yellow-and-black summer table, I used lemon yellow napkins from Bright Settings paired with a black-and-white gingham check tablecloth.
I love this pinwheel napkin fold so much that I used it for our hotdog toppings bar, too. For that, I used picnic check paper napkins.
Really any square napkin will work!
Let me show you how easy it is. Just click below to watch my quick video tutorial on how to fold napkins into pinwheels.
See, I told you it was easy!
I added a little “napkin ring” to the yellow pinwheels. It’s really just a clip-on earring tucked in the center. A button or decorative pin would work, too.
The napkins will hold their shape without anything in the center. It’s really up to you.
Now, go see what the other ladies made for this month’s no-sew showcase.
And don’t forget to pin this pinwheel napkin fold to use at your next dinner party.
