Dress up your coffee mug wall rack with simple Valentine’s Day decor, including a “Gossip Girl” inspired quote you can make with your Cricut.
I love a good teen soap opera, and Gossip Girl is one of my favorites!
XOXO!
I do realize how out-of-touch and off-trend it makes me to be quoting a hot teen TV show 11 years after it debuted and four years after it went off the air. But at 45, 11 years too late is probably as close as I can get to being hip. Or is it on fleek? Lit? Gucci? Straight fire?
Whatevs. Just like Blair Waldorf loved a scheme, I’m loving the Gossip Girl-inspired quote I used when styling my my coffee mug wall rack for Valentine’s Day.
A friend who was cleaning out her house gave me this coffee mug wall rack, and had it in my garage for two years. I’ve been meaning to hang it forever, but I only recently just got around to it.
And now I’m kicking myself for waiting so long because I love being able to create seasonal vignettes on it without cluttering up the flat surfaces in our home.

For Valentine’s Day, I dressed up the mug rack with some miniature preserved boxwood wreaths and some aqua enamel coffee mugs. I got my mugs and tray at the Southern Living Store in Myrtle Beach. You can find the same ones at Terrain and Farmhouse Pottery, though they are more expensive than what I paid. If you love them, your best bet is to watch Decor Steals for the next time they feature the mugs.

My heart plates were from Target’s Bullseye’s Playground last year, but these heart-shaped plates are similar and maybe even cuter!
I also added a little bird in a nest and an embroidered pink tea towel from Ikea (purchased ages ago!)
Of course, the crowning feature of the Valentine’s Day coffee mug rack decor is that enamel tray sign.
I made it in like a minute with my Cricut Explore Air 2 and some pink vinyl.
The design is from Cricut, the XOXO photo overlay.
Cut, weed, transfer — so easy!
