Welcome to my 2017 Christmas Porch Tour.
I am so excited to be hosting my second annual Christmas Porch Tour with some very talented bloggers.
Over the next two days, 13 of us will be sharing our Christmas porch decor ideas as we show off our front porches, screened-in porches and even a gazebo. You don’t want to miss out on any of these beautiful spaces, so be sure to pay them all a visit using the links at the end of this post.
For our Christmas porch decor this year, I went crazy with lanterns, vintage finds, ribbon, plaid, buffalo check and other festive patterns.

We are lucky to have a large, covered front porch and (mostly) mild weather here in North Carolina. That means I can load the porch up trees, Christmas wreaths, ornaments, pillows and my favorite vintage collectibles, with little fear of weather damage.
I love showcasing a live tree as part of our Christmas porch decor. This year, I “planted” ours in a vintage ice cream churn and decorated it with rustic ornaments.
Here’s the scene when you walk up the front steps to our porch. The trees add such curb appeal.
I always seem to use lanterns on our porch, and this year I put lots of them on display.
I love this vignette, especially those miniature black lanterns that I turned into Christmas ornaments and the galvanized bucket.
I bought them at the dollar store, thinking I might use them in a tablesetting. (And I still might.) But they were the perfect thing to dress us these little porch trees.
The lights have burned out on these porch trees, but I found a way to repurpose the tops in these galvanized flower buckets.
I love having a little sitting area on our front porch, and that painted black buffet is my favorite piece to decorate every season. It always looks festive!
Buffalo plaid, grain sack, plaid — it all coordinates so well with the chalkboard-inspired black finish.
Chalkboards, enamelware, old toys — they all have a place on my porch. They are perfect to use in a Christmas display.
This chippy old truck, with a bottle brush tree tied to the back, is a favorite.
There’s just something about Christmas trees on the backs of old cars, trucks and campers.
All the heart eyes!
But I was really excited to find this double-decker bus on one of my thrifting jaunts. My husband and I honeymooned in Victoria, so this piece is extra special.
If you’ve toured this space before for past holidays, you might notice something different this Christmas.
While I love my everyday gray chevron rug, I love how this plaid rug anchors my Christmas porch decor.
The plaid rug was the jumping off point for the porch’s color scheme and pattern madness.
I like big bows; I cannot lie! (See that huge wreath hanging on the porch window? I scored it for $10 this summer at a yard sale!)
The beauty on the door is the real deal, and I’m pretty proud of myself for tying that bow.
Thanks so much for stopping by to tour our Christmas porch decor. I’ll have the rest of the house ready soon, and I can’t wait to show it off, too.
Until then, enjoy the eye candy at these bloggers’ homes. Prepare to be inspired with these festive Christmas decorating ideas for your front porch, sunroom, screened-in porch or gazebo.

I think I got that at either Target or At Home. I’m sorry I don’t remember exactly. But it was likely one of those two places.

Your porch is amazing. I mean every single portion of it. From the seat cushions to the many lanterns… it’s all beautiful! I could sit there all day and never get anything done.
Atta Girl Amy
Aw, thanks so much, Cindy. I have to admit that I do take my time when decorating the porch because I enjoy sitting out there. I do a lot of porch sitting when I’m decorating!
Jane
I am seriously wishing I had a buffet on our porch! Your bow making skills are impressive as I sorely lack that skill! I love your updated blog look as well and recognize the theme. I just purchased it this morning! Thanks for allowing me to participate in your porch tour.
Atta Girl Amy
Thanks, Jane! My bow-making neighbor moved, so I had to make my own this year. I guess I learned something along the way.
And yes, I’m loving my new theme and blog look. I just installed it last week, so there are still a few changes we’re making. But I love it so far.
And I’m always thrilled when you join my tours. Your porch is one of my favorites in blogland.
Laurie @ VinYet Etc.

This is so so pretty!

Your porch looks so inviting! I loved looking at each picture to take in every detail. I’ll bet that your neighbors either drive or walk by very slowly trying to see all of your decorations.

Amy, I could spend hours listening to Christmas music on your porch! Everything is so festive and cozy but the grain sack tree is my favorite! Thanks again for organizing–pinned!
