It’s always been a dream of mine to be a vendor at a barn sale or a place like the Lucketts Spring Market.

I’ve even considered organizing my own barn sale. But then there’s that little hitch of not having a barn. Details, details…

Well, it turns out several of my blogger friends share my little dream, and in just a few weeks we’re joining together to throw our very own vintage and antique sale.

Carolina Vintage Mini Market Featuring Atta Girl Says Sophia's Decor and Farmhouse Decor

The Carolina Vintage (mini) Market will feature items from Sophia’s DecorFarmhouse Decor (Barb of The Everyday Home‘s online shop) and Atta Girl Says.

That’s the who and the what. I guess you probably want the when and the where, too!

Our big (little) sale is scheduled for June 22-23 at The Hen House at SuzAnna’s Antiques, 9300 Durant Road in Raleigh, N.C. We will be open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 23.

The Hen House at SuzAnna's Antiques in Raleigh

Kristen, Barb and I are going to pack this little building to the rafters with painted furniture, farmhouse decor and all the good junk we can find.

Oh, who am I kidding? We’re going to fill up the porch and the yard too!

If you are anywhere near Raleigh — you know, like anywhere in the continental United States — you need to make plans to be there.

It will be like shopping our blogs. (You guys know Kristen is moving right? Well, she is in major purge mode, so chances are you may find some lovely things from her home at the Carolina Vintage (mini) Market, as well as items she’s sourced and painted just for this event.)

In addition to the sale, we have some fun demonstrations planned, too.

tablescapes and vignettes with Sophia's Decor

On Saturday at 11 a.m. and again Sunday at 2 p.m., Kristen will be sharing how she creates the gorgeous tablescapes and vignettes you see on her blog.

Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint at AttaGirlSays.com

Stop by The Hen House at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and join me for a Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint demonstration. You’ll even have the chance to paint with me, if you like. For $10, you can transform a boring wood frame with milk paint. No need to register in advance, just drop by the tent and grab a paint brush.

Farmhouse Style Floral Arrangement by the Everyday Home

Barb takes the stage at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. She’ll be making a farmhouse-style floral arrangement and giving it away to someone in the audience.

I can’t begin to tell you how excited Kristen, Barb and I are about this event. The next several weeks will be incredibly busy, but we’re expecting to have so much fun and to meet so many wonderful people at the Carolina Vintage (mini) Market that all the hard work will be worth it.

Be sure to follow each of our blogs for more information about the upcoming sale.

You’ll also want to follow Carolina Vintage Market on Facebook and Twitter and check out the Carolina Vintage Market website Kristen is creating.

See y’all there!

  1. You know I’ll be there! So excited to see this…I actually have a barn (shed) that I’m going to have a sale in–when I clean it out. Sometime around 2021.
