Pair these tasty honey and blue cheese kettle chips with your favorite wine for a delicious and easy summertime snack that’s also great for parties.
When it comes to snacking, salty plus sweet always wins with me.
These honey and blue cheese kettle chips fit the bill, with a drizzling of sweet honey over crispy, sea salt potato chips and two kinds of cheese.
After enjoying a version of this appetizer at a wine bar in Florida, I knew I had to come up with a make-at-home version to serve at parties and to enjoy while sipping wine on our patio this summer.
Making these couldn’t be easier.
How to Make Honey & Blue Cheese Kettle Chips

I started with a bag of Kettle Brand® Potato Chips in the sea salt flavor.
Pour the entire bag of chips into an iron skillet or another oven-safe serving dish.
Then sprinkle on a handful of shredded mozzarella cheese and pop it under a low broiler for just a few minutes.
Be sure to watch the oven carefully. You want the cheese to melt, but you don’t want the chips to burn. A little browning is OK.
Next, sprinkle on some blue cheese or gorgonzola, as much as you like. Then drizzle the entire pan of chips with honey and garnish with sliced green onions.
Serve this with your favorite summertime wine — a riesling or a moscato — perhaps, and your guests will think you’re so fancy. But you really just opened a bag of potato chips! It’s all about presentation.
When you make this recipe, feel free to use any flavor of Kettle Brand® Potato Chips. Salt and Pepper or Backyard Barbecue chips would be amazing in this recipe. Or what about Pepperoncini, if you swapped the blue cheese out for feta? So many delicious ways to snack!
