One of the easiest ways I know of to change out your decor from one season to the next is to hang a new wreath.
I’m working on my fall decorating right now, and I have three inexpensive and easy fall wreaths you can make.
I promise, minimal craft skills are required — and you won’t have to spend a lot either.
This beauty uses a straw wreath form as its base. Just wrap your favorite ribbon around the wreath and secure with straight pins.
I added a few faux showy red mums and a pretty bow and ribbon hanger.
What about this pretty hydrangea wreath I made for a friend?
She sent me this inspiration photo and asked if I could recreate and reimagine it for her. So I did.
Dried hyrdrangeas are a big trend in autumn decorating. But this wreath uses faux silk hydrangeas, not dried hydrangeas. I still think it looks fabulous, and my friend loves it, too.
I artfully arranged the silk flowers on a grapevine wreath form. The floppy wide brown satin bow makes this wreath, in my opinion.
Finally, there’s the burlap and fall leaves wreath I used as part of my fall mantel decor.
This one is built on a foam wreath form, wrapped in burlap. I added a few colorful faux fall leaves and hot glued a few dried seed pods to the center.
The most expensive wreath to make was the grapevine hydrangea wreath because of the cost of the high-quality faux florals.
But if you use coupons and reuse an old grapevine wreath, you could easily make it for $20.
The other two wreaths come in even cheaper at a price of less than $10 each.
Need more wreath inspiration, check out out my post where I share handmade wreaths for every season.
And with Halloween coming up, you’ll want to check out my ‘Til Death Do Us Part spooky skeleton wreath.
Over the next few weeks, I’m also sharing my tips for how to decorate for fall without buying all new and breaking the bank. It’s all about repurposing, refreshing and restyling, like I did with my fall mantel this year.

Thank you so much, Yvonne. That means a lot coming from you.
I do find that I am so much happier when I have a creative outlet. I really stagnate when I can’t create.
Have a wonderful week, my friend. I can’t wait for our no-sew challenge this weekend. 🙂

Reimagine. I love that word! Love the wreaths, too. I try to pick up flowers at yard sales (and sometimes take apart ugly arrangements for the flowers), too, to make the cost even less. Wreaths are not my forte but I’m working on it!

Yard sales are great places to pick up grapevine wreaths for a steal. Goodwill, too.
We need to go yardsaling together. What does this weekend look like for you? I haven’t been to yard sales in forever.
