I’m calling this the back-to-school edition of Home{work} Wednesday. My son starts back to school tomorrow. Where did the summer go, but more importantly, where did these past 6 years go?

How is my baby a first grader all ready?

One good thing about this whole back-to-school business. I should have more time for home{work} of my own.

I sure did enjoy seeing all your pretty, tasty and industrious projects you linked up last week.

Homework Wednesday Linky Party

Now, let’s look at some features. Please remember: If you want to pin, please click over to the blog responsible for creating these awesome projects.

First up, the three top viewed links from last week’s party.

Wall Clock with Twine by Dio Home Improvements

Dria from Dio Home Improvements used the workings from an old clock and materials she had on hand to make this DIY wall clockfor her kitchen.

Sharknado Cupcakes by Just Dip It in Chocolate

I have some cheesy TV catching up to do. I haven’t seen Sharknado yet, but I’ve heard all about it, and I think these Sharknado cupcakes from Just Dip It in Chocolate are the cutest and most clever idea ever.

Strawberry Crisp to Go by True Blue Baking

Gotta love a grab-it-and-go recipe, especially on those busy back-to-school mornings. This recipe for strawberry crisp from Raven at True Blue Baking looks delicious.

And now a few of my favorites.

Vintage Lace Anthropologie Knockoff Mirror by Hymns and Verses

The Anthropologie mirror that inspired this project had a $5,800 price tag, but Doreen from Hymns and Verses made a gorgeous knockoff antique lace mirror. She has a great tutorial.

How to Make a Perfect Cheese Platter by Couches and Cupcakes

Charindie at Couches and Cupcakes shared her tips for creating a perfect cheese platter. Her how-to takes the mystery out of how to create this simple but fancy party staple.

Home Tour by Chateau Chic

Mary Alice from Chateau Chic shared her lovely home with us, and there were so many things I loved about her home tour. I love how she displays her collections (be sure to click over to see how she reused a plant stand and also how she displayed an antique bottle collection. Her home shows she pays attention to details.

Thanks to everyone who linked up to the party! If you were featured, feel free to copy the button below and display it on your website.

Be sure to check out my party co-hosts, Marty’s Musings, The Everyday Home and Worthing Court, to see who they’re featuring, too.

Now, let’s get this party started.

Link up your best home-related project here, and your post will appear automatically on all four blogs: Marty’s Musings, The Everyday Home, Worthing Court and Atta Girl Says.

Once the party closes each week, we’ll each get out our red pens and start grading projects — featuring our favorites on our blogs. We’ll also be sharing projects throughout the week on our social networking channels, including Pinterest, where we have more than 18,000 followers combined. (Our other numbers aren’t too shabby either. Combined, we have 7,200 followers on Facebook, 3,000 on Twitter and 4,900 on Google+. We’d love to share your projects with our followers.)

  • Please link to a specific post on your blog, not your Blog’s URL.
