Easter really snuck up on me this year.

Does putting some jelly beans in a mason jar count as decorating? Because that’s the sum total of my Easter decorating so far.

If you’re in the same boat as I am, never fear.

I’ll be demonstrating a fun and cheap Easter craft  at 1 p.m. EDT Wednesday, March 13, during a live Google+ hangout on air.

I’ll be showing you how I decorate jars with craft paint and vinyl decals.

Atta Girl Says: Bunnies & chicks Easter Jars decorated with paint and vinyl silhouettes

Aren’t these just the cutest?

I made these last year. (Find the painted Easter jars tutorial here.

For the live Google+ hangout, I’ll be demonstrating some different designs using supplies you probably already have on hand.

You’ll need:

  • some inexpensive glass jars (I found mine at the thrift store and the dollar store)
  • Martha Stewart craft paint
  • paint brush
  • paint sponge
  • Optional: vinyl decals or a stencil you make with craft punches or a die-cutting machine
You can watch the live Hangout here or on my Google+ profile page. And if you can’t make the live event, you can always catch the replay on YouTube.

What a super cute idea! I just started our Easter decorating this weekend. I was thinking my kids thought they were too old for it and they started complaining because I hadn’t done anything. I guess its such a tradition we have to keep on decorating. ;-)
