How do I love thee? Let me count the ways…

When it comes to matters of the heart, it’s not what you spend, but how you show it.
This Valentine’s Day craft encourages heartfelt declarations, but it only set me back $5 at Dollar Tree.

Here’s what I bought:
- 2 sets of wedding favor buckets
- 1 roll of embellished kraft wrapping paper
- 1 roll of sheer pink ribbon
- 1 package of plastic clothesline
I had plans of bringing macrame back with this craft, but that didn’t work out so well. So, I just braided three strands of the clothesline together to make my garland.
I broke out my craft supplies and painted Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s famous words on four of the little tin wedding favor buckets (which I also used to make our 3D family bucket list).
Then, I tied the buckets to the braided garland, using the ribbon that came with the wedding favor kit.

We cut out squares of kraft paper and wrote sweet nothings on them, rolled them up and tied them with a bow.

Now, each bucket holds something sweet. I cut extra squares of paper and ribbon so we can add to the buckets whenever we’re feeling mushy.
By Valentine’s Day, each of our buckets should be overflowing with love.

So cute! You are such a creative lady. I walk into the Dollar Tree and walk around and around just trying to think of crafts to make and always come away with nada.
