Exciting and busy, busy times here at Atta Girl Says.
First, we opened our local retail space at Golden Antiques in Summerfield, N.C., then we found out we’d be among the first retailers nationwide to carry Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint.
And because we didn’t have enough on our plate, we’ve opened an etsy shop.
I thought it would be the perfect avenue to sell the milk paint, some of my custom vinyl wall decals and other handmade items
I’m adding items to the shop daily — as fast as I can make items, photograph and write descriptions for them.
But here are a few sneak peeks:
You Mess with the T-Rex, You Get the Teeth Vinyl Dinosaur Wall Decal
Custom Vinyl Monogram Decals, great for party favors, bridesmaids gifts or anywhere you need to make your mark!
Custom Vinyl Family Crest Monograms
Any shade of Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint, available for preorder
I hope you’ll shop with me. You can find my etsy store here, and you can always get to it from the Store tab on my web page. If something in our etsy store catches your eye, but it’s not the right color, size or style for you, reach out to me. I love doing custom orders. Be sure to check back often. I am adding inventory daily.
And thank you so much for all the people who have supported me as I’ve embarked on this whirlwind adventure. I’ve had some wonderful mentors as I’ve realized my dream of owning a creative business.
Then, there are people who’ve put some “skin in the game,” as they say. My parents have been “donating” things to my real and online stores. Stay tuned, as I’ll be posting some of my dad’s homemade baskets and some of my mom’s crocheted blankets and baby doll beds in the coming days and weeks. And my husband has been a great sports and support recently, pulling more than his fair share of parenting and household duties.
And, of course, I can’t leave out the wonderful friends, blog readers, Facebook fans and Twitter followers who have been cheering for me. Your support means a lot!

Thank you. A few sales so far, so that made us feel good. I am currently staring at a pile of things I’ve yet to post. Maybe today…
