It’s been a little quiet around AttaGirlSays.com these past few days. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy.
I decided to take a huge leap and open a first permanent retail space with a friend — a booth in Golden Antiques & Treasures in Summerfield, N.C. You will find us in Booth #8.
It has been a whirlwind of activity as we’ve made all this happen in a week. It was a tag team effort, with some heavy lifting from the Atta Boys, aka our husbands. My friend painted the walls, including that adorable scalloped border, while I entertained our kids, The kids even helped out, carrying in small merchandise and generally behaving whenever we had to drop in the booth to unload more merchandise, style our space and tag our items. They’ve all been real troopers!
Atta Girl Says, the store, features a mix of hand-painted furniture; hand sewn pillows and aprons; vinyl decals artwork, vintage goodies and home decor items. Atta Girl Says has an aesthetic that is distinctly unique. It’s very girly with a definite nod to the vintage.
We plan to celebrate our grand opening with some special treats for our customers who stop by Golden Antiques this weekend. If you’re in the area, come by and say hello, browse and buy.
If you’re local, please come visit us at Golden Antiques, 4537 US Highway 220 North, Summerfield, N.C.
We’ll be bringing in new merchandise every week, too, so check back often for the next thing you can’t live without.

looks great! very cheery! if i lived in the area i would def come visit, but alas, i do not! good luck to you!
take care!

This is sooo cute! It’s so awesome that you found a location to sell your creations from! Hey, I just love all your creations with the cameo and was thinking how cute it would be to use them on the containers for the cotton centerpieces…like table numbers or “Southern Blogging Conference” Est. 2012. Watcha think?

Love that idea, Kristen. I can make labels out of any color vinyl we like — or maybe even chalkboard vinyl. Just let me know how many/what size/etc., and I’ll make some up. And thanks so much for your kind words. It was such a blast meeting you today after stalking your blog for a while now. I’m looking forward to working with you on the conference, barn sales, etc., and would love to together sometime for go junking etc. We can even bring the kids along if we’re brave — or crazy.
